First of all, I want to apologize for late reply. Actually website is under construction. Feel free to ask another question as your next question is also free.

The digestion of food in blood is called absorption.

Absorption is the process movement of digested food molecules through the intestinal walls into the blood.

Digested food molecules are absorbed in the small intestine into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, the digested food molecules are carried around the other parts of organs/tissues/cells of body, where they are needed.

The part of blood that carries digested food is plasma. Our blood has 55% liquid component called as blood plasma. The intestines remove all the nutrients from our food and are absorbed through the intestinal walls. Through this blood plasma digested food absorbed primarily by stomach walls and then by intestinal lining and then goes into blood plasma which is then carried into the other parts of organs/tissues/cells, where it is needed.
