A fever is not any disease, it is actually a signal that indicates infection in body.
Average temperature of body 98.6 degree fahrenheit and fever means rise in body temperature.
Fever indicates that the body has an infection and it causes your body temperature to rise that helps to fight off the infection.
Fever makes the body organs and processes to work faster which means body produces more enzymes, hormones and blood cells. Blood circulation is faster, breathing rate is more and we get rid of wastes or infection. It is important to get rid of fever also as it destroys the important proteins in our body.
